DAES, pronounced “daze,” formed as these incredible young artists were closing their high school times (Denver School of the Arts & North High School) and entering their college careers. The vibe of their music is rooted in instrumental jazz with elements of funk, rock, and a driving rhythm section. 

After our well received inaugural trivia night, we are returning for Round 2! Join us and our amazing emcee, Richi Ramos, on Wednesday June 11 at Two Moons in RiNo from 7-10pm. This will be a special Pride edition to celebrate the festive month. Trivia begins at 8pm sharp, and you can come in teams of 2-6. Don't have a team but want to come? What started as a passion project dedicated to the late and great

Stephen Hawking quickly evolved into a serious deep dive into the

Underground) with drummer Neal Evans (Dopapod,
Elephant Wrecking Ball), bassist Dan Africano (Thievery
Corporation, Ghost Light) and Caton Sollenberger (The Jauntee),

Known as the last horn-man to perform and record (2012-2016) with Prince and the New Power Generation; Adrian is featured on many of Prince’s final masterpieces including the 2017 Grammy-Nominated Hit-N-Run Phase 2.  

Adrian has also had the privilege of performing with many of today’s brightest stars such as Lionel Richie, Bette Midler, Ceelo Green, R&B icon Anthony Hamilton, Fantasia Barrino, KC and JoJo, and with hip hop superstar Young Jeezy. In jazz Mr. Crutchfield has been featured by names such as Brian Culbertson, Kim Waters, Mike Philips, Alex Bugnon, Jeff Lorber, and Branford Marsalis; and with legendary groups such as Fourplay and The Gap Band featuring Charlie Wilson.

To music fans worldwide DOTSERO translates to "A no nonsense thrill ride of energy and excitement" a band full of life, energy and spontaneity that few artists in the genre have been able to match. As much fun to watch as they are to listen to. Colorado's own DOTSERO band Taking their name from a small mountain town in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, DOTSERO means “Something Unique”. Formed in 1984 the Dotsero Band, brothers Stephen and David Watts set sail on the contemporary jazz circuit with a vengeance. Performing all the major jazz festivals From Ala Carte Ala Park in San Francisco to West Palm Beach’s Sunfest, Red Rocks , JVC Winter Park Jazz Fest, Jazz Trax Catalina Island Jazz Fest and The Cancun Jazz Festival, among many others. Over the years Dotsero founding member David retired from the scene leaving the band solely in the hands of front man, sax man Steve Watts. Maintaining the integrity and standard people have come to expect from the shows, Steve opened up the genre full throttle adding the excitement of vocals, dual keyboards to the already funky sounds on the bass, drums and of course sax & ewi.
