Jazz Odyssey Presents: Ojo de Luna & Callum & the Kyn
Kuvo & Gift of Jazz come together to present to you Jazz Odyssey an exploration of sound through time. We will be highlighting local artists and bands each month to take you on a journey through the progression of Jazz through the years.
5pm Doors/Happy Hour
6pm-7:15pm Gift of Jazz highlight
7:45pm-9pm KUVO highlight
This month Gift of Jazz will highlight Ojo de Luna a 7 piece Latin jazz fusion band formed by musicians who consider each other family. Founded in 2023, the project began as a shared space for exploring Latin American rhythms and traditions: diving into heritage, learning from one another, and growing deeply as artists and as people.
Today, Ojo de Luna exists to honor the music that makes their skin curl: music rooted in tradition and transformed through original compositions that weave together their diverse influences. The band is also a living continuation of the vision and legacy of its founder, Haiden Davis, carried forward through collective expression, reverence, and love.
This month Kuvo will highlight Callum & the Kyn: Callum is a multi-instrumentalist with over a decade of experience in the studio and on the stage. Throughout his career in the greater Colorado music scene, he has gigged extensively in a wide array of genres from jazz, to rock, to pop, to gospel. He has performed with numerous local and international artists such as Le'Andria Johnson, Derrick Hodge, Brionne Aigné, Monique Brooks-Roberts, Otis Taylor, JoFoKe, Daley, and the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, as well as opening for Grammy award-winning acts such as Meshell Ndegeocello, Lil John, Talib Kweli, Musiq Soulchild, and Big Boi. Callum is proud to be a TrueFire artist and endorsee of Godin Guitars.

Bay Bryan
Join Bay Bryan and friends for a very special homecoming show at Two Moons Music Hall featuring songs & stories from The Meadow as well as Bay's new album-in-progress BAYARD. Adding to the night will be a set by Bay's longtime friend and Colorado-born artist Pearly (live solo set) as well as a secret DJ who will round out the night with some disco/house tunes. Originally from Golden, Bay has strong Colorado roots and a deep-but-complex love for where he grew up. In fact, most of the songs & stories from both The Meadow and BAYARD are centered around Bay's childhood.
Story-driven, layered, soulful, and most definitely a blend of American/British influences, Bay's songwriting/music is often being compared to artists like Anaïs Mitchell, Labi Siffre and Nick Drake. With deep roots in the theatre, Bay brings a bard-like puckish flair to his live performances, often weaving stories in-and-out of songs, making for a cabaret-like atmosphere that is playful, authentic and engaging.
a bit more about both projects...
The Meadow (rel. April 7th 2023), Bay’s debut album, is an alternative/folk-fusion concept album ultimately about the bitter-sweet process of accepting the call to adventure. After a sold out show in Manchester, a bit of a buzz led to spins on BBC Radio 2 and many live shows including The Jazz Café in London, Manchestival International Festival 2023, and more.
Bay's current project, which he plans to record in 2026 is titled BAYARD which follows on from The Meadow into a mystical woods. Departing from The Meadow’s more introspective, folky core, BAYARD is full of playful funky energy, drawing from influences such as Amy Winehouse, Stevie Wonder and Burt Bacharach. If you’ve heard Bay’s recent single ‘Drifting’ you can hear a nod to what is to come.
